of construction details Roar is built upside down on a ladder strongback. Her dimensions allow her to be built indoors, and moved out through a standard 36"-wide door. Except for 5/32" marine plywood, all wood parts can be made with lumber from the local home center. Similarly, the sliding seat and other rigging is built with ply & home center materials. Roar is a very practical project for any new boatbuilder. |
